I heard bill gates hacked his school network to get in more classes with girls is this type of hacking possible I just found it interesting. I'm guessing now a days it's way more secure and would get into a shot load of trouble ?

Yeah Bill Gates apparently did that, and yes if you get caught you will get in a lot of trouble. You have to get into the Attendance and Counseling files, it's really complicated. Back then, they didn't really have security.

I guess it could be possible.

The registers would have to be stored on the network.
You would have to gain access and edit the register BEFORE it was printed.
You would have to be in the same grade/year, whatever, as the girl.
You would have to somehow get into the school network while the school was closed for summer (As this is before the new school year begins and before all possible registers for classes are printed (MAYBE))

Attacking a school is considered Cyber Terrorism.
Don't even try.
It wouldn't be too hard, but you will get caught.

At home use a vpn and login.
Remove you from whatever class.
Add yourself to this class.
When the investigation happens, get caught.
