So a little over 2 weeks ago I bought parts for a scrypt miner, built it and had some extra parts for expansion, everything was going good, I was making money but i made one major uh oh. My gf was NOT ok with it and long story short ive got to get rid of it (we share money).

Now i know im going to sell it at a loss but should i sell it as a rig or as parts? So far ive gotten $230 worth of doge from it, wish i could keep it.
Its fully functional and all new parts. Tell me what you guys think.

Have you explained to her that you've made $230 in the past 2 weeks from it? That might change her mind :P

Do you have any other rooms to put it in?
Yeah I know I've tried all avenues, even asked to keep it at work but I don't think my boss could grasp the concept of crypto currencies. So to him its an Internet and power leacher.

If you're set on selling it, I'm sure you could sell it as a rig on craigslist and make close to what you paid for it.

Don't sell it man. Place it somewhere where she can't hear it. For example if you live in apartment with 1 room place it on the balcony (if you have) or place it at your grandparents house or at your parents house ... Just don't sell it .. probably you'll make money of it more then you've gonna sell it .. it's not an option to sell it. But if you both decided to do that, I suggest you to put for about a week on ebay to sell as rig on bidding. If doesn't go so well then close the bidding and re-open a new one where you sell as parts. Just don't write that you have been using those graphic cards for mining. Tell that you have been using for gaming.

Yeah i hope craigslist comes through. was hoping to get 1200 for it all, because I paid little over 1400 for it. Now I do know I have access to killer good shipper rates from work. So maybe even sell it on crypto thrift.
Do you guys think 1200 usd is too much for those parts ?

The 3 R9 270's are worth about $800, plus another $400 for the rest of the parts + time to build/setup is a fair price.

$1200 looks like a fair price. And I think it's a real one. Good luck with finding someone to sell and I am sorry to hear this.
