I played for 4 years, got kicked out of band, but actually had a passion for it, not just trying to put it on my college record.. But i hated the music we play, just like the instrument.

If you play in band, what instrument do you play?: I played Jazz guitar for the jazz program, and Alto Saxophone for the symphonic band.

I've played Saxophone for about six years, and Guitar for about eight years. I've taken lessons for both instruments and music theory. On top of both I play piano and mandolin. Jazz band was really my first real experience performing guitar, and I owe everything in my life to my middle school for opening up that to me, for the skills I acquired really opened up the instrument, and music theory to me.

Played in a band once. Didn't like it. Elementary school, and I' played the trombone. Was the only trombone player. I learned that I didn't need to be like everyone else.
