Would this interest you? - GCSE/A-Level Students!

I am in the middle of creating a leaflet and study guide for 16-18 year olds studying A-levels.

It will include advice on time management, course information (as well as the difference between exam boards in each course),Information on university (how to apply, where to apply etc) and a plethora of information and tips. It will also include a template for a revision timetable and study timetable. I am creating this as part of a team at university as we will be visiting schools around the area and giving year 11 pupils advice on 6th form and year 12 students advice on uni. I could easily transfer this to a more hackforums friendly e-book and release it on here for free. I would be more than happy to do so but only if people will be genuinely interested in it.

So if you're interested let me know, if enough people are i will start transferring it to an ebook 🤝

Despite the lack of interest i have decided to create the Ebook anyway as a time killer and release it within the next 2 weeks. Im sure there are several 16-18 year olds from the UK on hackforums who would benefit from this as i know it would have helped me a lot back then. Will also be doing a thread within the next week with advice on Law at university, dispelling some myths and letting you all know its not as dull as some people think.
Currently travelling and working abroad, will be inactive for foreseeable future.

Will you be selling the ebook or giving it away free of charge?

100% free of charge my friend 🤝 Would feel silly selling such a thing :)

I'm doing my A levels atm, so i can say first hand that picking your subjects can be a little intimidating.
I think your idea is pretty good, and it would help students pick the right subjects for the degree they want, rather than just picking a bunch of subjects they like or felt like taking, which seems to be a major problem in schools :P
Which exam boards do you plan to cover? Edexcel? AQA? or all of them?
I would be interested in this. If you do make it into an eBook, PM me. :)

All of them that are currently in circulation in the UK :) I will pay special attention to Edexcel in certain courses as they are very slippery when it comes to marking.

Edexcel is horrible at marking, especially the international GCSEs/A levels.

You know what would be a really good addition? How UMS works, how its calculated, why its used and so on, cuz most students have absolutely no clue what UMS is and then they try to compare raw marks from different exam boards.

I reckon it would be of some help, might make timetabling and time planning for revision a bit easier i guess haha.
I'd definitely be interested in this, it would hopefully make me fix up sooner.
i got fucked up with GCSEs smtime in 1999
Due to the information i want to included i will release this over 7-10 mini guides. The first of which will be released today or tomorrow and after that I will release them every few days!
