I just recently done a fresh install of everything an my ports are working again. I was able to get it working on myself but when I test it on the machine that is running the virtual for dark comet it runs but the client doesn't appear. Not sure if I have to have no ip configed in dark comet an I have it running seperate

What's a good coding language to start?

Well I want to start coding because it seems fun and interesting and I already know HTML + CSS however I assume knowing that will have nothing to do with actual coding. I am starting to learn C++ but is that the best first language to do?

Well I want to start coding because it seems fun and interesting and I already know HTML + CSS however I assume knowing that will have nothing to do with actual coding. I am starting to learn C++ but is that the best first language to do?

When deciding which language to start, you should first decide for what reason you'll be coding.

If you're interested in Web Design, I suggest PHP and/or python (using Django or a similar framework) as well as Javascript/JQuery, SQL, and possibly C#/ASP.net, Java, etc...

If you're interested in networking and development, I highly suggest, again, Python, as well as Lua. Other great scripting languages are Perl and Ruby. However, Lua is used quite often in scripting engines for programs like Nmap, Wireshark, Snort, and other common applications/services.

If you're interested in working with the lowest level of systems and interacting with the kernel/CPU directly, I can't recommend C/C++ and ASM enough. Personally, I chose to learn NASM (Assembler) as well as C.

Sorry, the idea already came in my mind a while a go.
