So I was looking for a QBD guide on HF but couldn't find any good ones so I decided to make one myself.

I'll be going through al the points mentioned below:

Requirements

You can do it with lower stats but it will be harder.

• 96 Herblore (for Overloads and super antifire).
  
• 90+ Attack, Strength and Defence.
  
• 95 Prayer for Soulsplit and Turmoil.
  
• 88+ Summoning for unicorn or Yack
  
• Done all qeusts for Curses prayer book.

Use the Kick and Sever ability as much as you can, they will hit pretty high.



Killing QBD

There is quiet a lot you need to know about QBD if you go for the first time.
You should either pray range, or soulsplit if more experienced.

QBD has 4 phases, with ofcourse phase 1 easiest and phase 4 hardest. After every phase you'll need to activate an artefact.

After you've activated it you just keep on fighting until next artefact will be available to activate.

Sometimes you will get a purple message in your chatbox, if that happens don't do anything. he will spawn 1,2 or 4 shades. These will all shoot something towards you and you will get hit for 500-1000 damage. If you are more experienced you can lure the things they throw underneath the other shadows to not get hit.

If you get a red message in your chatbox, the QBD will throw a firewall. You can doge these by walking in the hole in every firewall or just run straight throug it to only get 1 hit. In the first phase he will only blast 1 firewall, every phase you go up he will throw 1 more. So in phase 4 he will blast 4 firewalls which is tricky to doge.

Fire breath will only be in the last phase, You first get a orange message in your chatbox. If you go for the Royal crossbow, you need to stay in the middle in front of her. As soon as it has started and you get hit for 1950 hits you click to brandish your Royal crossbow. It might be hard since you have to time it right because the fire breath will hit 1950 every second you stand in there.

When she switches from colour, and this: "The Queen Black Dragon takes on the consistency of crystal; she is more resistant to magic, but weaker to physical damage." appears in your chatbox. She will be weaker to melee, good for you if you have melee, not good if you don't melee. She can also do the excact same but than for mage, so turning an other colour and being more weak to magic attacks.

After spawning the shades in last phase. There will be a change of 1 shade standing in the corner and scream weird things like "The spell is nearly complete" and "Kill me mortal...quickly! HURRY! BEFORE THE SPELL IS COMPLETE!". Kill this shade as fast as you can since it will freeze the time if you don't kill him. When time freezes everything will go on except you can't eat, run or teleport away.



Getting there

There are multiple ways to get there, I'll explain the easiest.
1. You will teleport to the lodestone of port sarim.
2. Walk North-west until you see a few white Knights standing near a cave entrance, go in the cave.
3. After going in the cave entrance you will get in a dungeon.
4. Walk west until you see an shortcut, go in here.
5. Now prepare to fight, after going in the next portal you will meet QBD,

You can get lots of more drops ofcourse but these are the ones you are looking for.
If you are going for completionist cape (t), you will need to have all the 4 dragonkin journals,
these aren't hard to get and the first one will be recieved on your first kill. After 25 kills you will have them all.
Sometimes you will recieve rocktails or super restore (2), take these if you don't have full inventory.

Depending on how fast you kill her you get 3-5M/hour.

Tips and Tricks

Since last phase will take the most food you will have to rush it as fast as you can, so my tactic is gettin 100% andrenaline before activating the third artefact. Use berserk, drink andrenaline potion, use kick and sever and any other ability and destroy/assault her. Most likely she will be dead after assault/destroy.

If you use mage or range, which I do not recommend. Do not stand on the magical platform since it will hit you for 1000's after a few seconds of standing on it.

The sacrifice abilty will be very usefull to heal on the shades since they only have 1500 hp.

Do not run when the shades talk, easiest to just tank it and kill them after.

If you are more experienced and don't need any food, try bringing a familair like a iron/steel titan for faster kills.
