How to give yourself realistic looking special eyes

In this tutorial I will show you how to give yourself some special eyes.
Here I chose for the Mangekyō Sharingan because I'm a big Naruto fan. This could of course be anything, you can draw your own in Adobe Illustrator.
Here's an example of what it should look like.

What you will need

A picture of an eye / A HQ picture of a person.
An illustration of what you want your eye to look like.

Opening Photoshop and importing your pictures

I'm pretty sure you know how to open Photoshop, in case you don't, you click the little app icon.

Then we will import our 2 pictures in 2 separate projects.
You do this by going to File->Open. Select your 2 pictures and hit OK. The end result should look like the second picture of this spoiler.

Editing the eye

Take your Polygonal lasso tool (a pic of where it is in the spoiler) and start drawing around the iris of the eye. (the colored part) Make sure that you close the shape.

When your eye is highlighted, take your Color Replacement tool (a pic of where it is in the spoiler), and start drawing over the eye. You'll see that it turns grey.

Adding the illustration to your eye

Now go to the other project with the illustration.
Take your Magic Wand Tool (a pic of where to find this is in the spoiler) and while holding shift you select every piece of the eye you need. You'll eventually end up with the illustration selected.
Now do Edit->copy.
Go to the picture of the eye we already edited and do Edit->Paste.
The illustration will probably be too big, so select the illustration the same way we did before and do Edit->Free Transform.
You can now freely move the picture and resize it. (CAUTION: When resizing a picture, ALWAYS hold shift. This is to prevent the picture from taking a different form.)
You can also turn the picture when your mouse is close to a corner and turns into a curvy arrow.

What you have to do it place the illustration on the iris of your eye, make it the same size.

Making the eye look realistic

To make the eye look realistic, all you have to do is adjust the layer.
The window for layers in on the bottom right.
From the drop down menu saying normal, select Overlay.
You can then change the opacity right next to it.

You'll have to play around with the settings to see what looks best. You can choose every type of layer that is in the same section as overlay.
As you can see, I used Vivid Light with a 60% opacity.

The final touch

All you have left to do is get rid of some pieces of the eye.
Hit "E" on your keyboard and start drawing over the extra pieces, this will remove it.

Saving your picture

To save your picture do File->Save for Web, and on the top right use the same settings as me to get the best quality.
