I don't mean completing the TCP handshake hundreds and hundreds of times to lag the victim out. I mean interrupting the handshake, and keeping the system from sending the RST packet after receiving the SYN/ACK packet. If its possible, is it possible without root?
The reason I ask here in the Python section, is because, if you haven't already guessed, I'm working on a Python script to do this. But I don't want to just mass the target with tons of SYN packets. I want to force the 75 second connection waiting period.
