1. Yes
2. Doesn't matter
3. Watch streams
4. Luck > skill imo, but skills are involved.
You can learn to consturct decks from sites like hearthead and others just type in your favorite class
Well I think skills are more important than luck on higher level.
You need to know exactly decks, cards that your opponent is using and what is he doing otherwise you will lose.
Here's my two cents:

1. This game is completely F2P. You can reach legend without paying a single cent, the grind is just a bit longer because you need to still earn usable cards. Search for some free-to-play decks on google, there's loads of them now.

2. Play all of the classes and get each of them to level 10. You'll probably have a good feeling for which class you like best by then and can choose what cards to focus on collecting from then on.

3. Honestly, watching streams is the best way to improve at almost any video game. Watching streams and practicing (playing the game) are the two best ways to learn match-ups. Once you know certain match-ups and have a feel for the current meta, you'll be able to netdeck certain cards that you think are suitable for the current decks you've been seeing and/or facing on the ladder. As mentioned above, lots of sites are out there with decklists which can also help give you a basis for your decks.

4. Card games are all about making the best play possible with the cards you are dealt and the scenario you are presented with. Obviously luck comes into play because you cannot control which cards you or your opponent will draw, but in my opinion HS takes both a decent amount of luck and skill to truly be "good" at.

Hope this helped and GL!
Hey,

I'm playing for like a few months now, but if I may give you some advice: just play and learn while playing
A lot of people say that you can learn the game by watching tutorials etc. but when you just play and learn it to yourself it's much more fun, you'll understand what you do and what your strategy is and maybe the most important thing is that you'll play in your own style. Instead of copying from other people, you can just create your own style of playing, which makes the game a lot more fun imo.

Have fun playing ;)
