I traded my OMC to BTC while this guy calms down with his rig. Idk why you wouldn't use that in a more developed crypto currency while OMC gets settled in...

Not if he doesn't sell the coins or brag about it. As long as they're sold in smaller chunks it's still possible to get them traded without crashing anything. Alternatively you could also just create a stupid big wall on Allcrypt which would more or less stall the value for a long time.

Regardless of the 'chunks' you split it into, selling an enormous amount of anything drops the price as it saturates the market.
