So my friends in south Dakota right now and the only thing they have where he is. Is Bakken wireless which is 85/month with as long as a 8month waiting period. Does anyone know how to bypass this? My only guess would be to try and sniff a password but I'm not sure if even that would work not being there. So anyone have any suggestions it would be really awesome I've been googling for a security vulnerability or anything but havnt found anything. Thanks again guys

Try spoofing the mac address of your device (laptop/smartphone i presume?), to a device that has access - this should (sometime) work, depends on the AP security settings.

If the above doesn't work -
For WEP - connect to the wifi (or better yet: spam packets via aircrack) using your device and start sniffing for IV.
WPA/2 - try Reaver. If that doesn't work - try the above, but with desyncs. And pray.

If you are talking about it has a login page to use the wifi go google: Dns tunnelling
or google: Dns tunnelling with iodine

You will need to spoof a device that is already connected to the access point.
Video above explains all you need is to find a device that is connected and then clone that mac address which will allow you to bypass the login page because the gateway will assume you are that device thats already connected.

If you're on Windows all you gotta do is get a software that can change you're mac address for you and change it to the device thats connected however you will first need to find a device that is connected.

If no devices show up then you can't do anything.
