Ctrl alt delete doesn't work, alt tab doesn't work, etc. It can be persistent, however we've currently disabled that feature. It wouldn't make sense if it kept coming back, now would it? "I just activated my windows, why do I have to do it again?" It's going to seem less authentic and legitimate over time. (Jun 29, 2014 09:19 PM)IntelliJ Wrote: It completely locks windows. And simply remove the reg key or whatever after they have done the survey. (Jun 29, 2014 09:21 PM)Kryptize Wrote: What if the user doesn't download they key and reboots his/her computer? While that's true, in our testing we found that even if they did restart their computer and we lost them, we'll get them within the next two download execute functions we do. For testing purposes on Jokeh's initial release I downloaded it on approximately 400 bots (the DL execute rate on Coiner isn't perfect,) I received $26. As I stated above, we tested it on 400 bots. We stopped all other tasks (mining, etc) and we downloaded and executed the locker. We received $26, and in a 12 hour period we lost 4 bots. We can't quite tell if this is a bug within Coiner (as it's a heavily bugged botnet,) or if they reformatted or got rid of our executable. Edit: Out of those 400 bots, about 325 of them are from non-English speaking countries. US bots are simply just hard to obtain. From 400 executions, we can estimate that 25%-50% did the survey, and that gave us $26. For a $1 investment, I'm fairly certain that's worth it. Hi, I will add something like this to king's locker over the next few days as I am super busy, thanks for the idea though. Permissions kind of fuck this up though, and it's not that simple.
