Fun multiplayer game? (Or fun game to play together at same time)

It can be online or simply coop or server hosting. Gamecube and Wii games are on the table. Things to note:

-Can simply be a single player game that's fun to play "with" someone else.

-There's a skill gap. She's currently unable to play shooters (she's not even walk turn walk turn yet.. She simply doesn't turn or look up or down. She looks over at my screen to tell where she is xD )

Basically I'm looking to find something that we can both play together that will allow her to become more familiar with games. I tried Risk of Rain with her but she didn't even really use her abilities D: so maybe something akin to a multi-player tower defense game would be fine? We both really enjoy RPG-like experiences. She enjoys fighters, also. And Pokemon. She's interested in League and has been playing it for a while but doesn't have the right mindset for it (she likes messing around and League, even in normals, isn't ever going to be about that the way she does it).

So basically I'm looking for something that we can play together that won't cause me frustration due to feeling as though I'm simply dragging her along and boring her (Borderlands 2 is where I discovered her inability to use both analog sticks. Minecraft cemented that) Minecraft gave her a headache and tbh it kind of bores me now that I've gotten into game development.

-Brawl
-Mario party
-The 2nd Pokemon Colosseum
-Starbound

All on the list. I have a few others but soooo tired.
Dungeon Defenders
Portal 2 (Start out with some really easy community created maps/puzzles so she can get the feels)
Orcs Must Die 2 (I think it got coop anyway look at it)
Magicka
Worms (Clan Wars and Revolution should do the trick)
Diablo

All these games should be fairly easy to get used to. Even for people who normally never play games.
Learn her league of legends, let her watch video's about it.
That is how i learned my girl League. :d
Diablo 3 & Torchlight 2

Both dungeoncrawlers that I spent hours on hours playing coop with my friends.
bomberman online is awesome when its working... the domain names of no-ip have caused them issues recently
Try Garry's Mod. It's an amazing game, and if you get tired of one gamemode, then you can simply switch to another one. Some of the gamemodes are: Stop it, Slender!, Prop Hunt, Murder and Melonbomber. The gamemodes requires no skill to a minimum of skill.

EDIT: To play Garry's Mod you will need (all) source games. You can find the content and maps for all of them here: http://cscheater.era.ee/ (under GarryContent).
Liking the suggestions thus far. I will say that I'm not terribly sure about Dungeon Defenders. Played it for 4 days straight with 4 people when I was at my Uncle's not too long ago. I didn't like how unreactive the gameplay was. Got really boring for me. The 2nd one is coming out probably next year, though. They've addressed this issue in the sequel.
Well.. Since the Wii is on the table, try out a Monster Hunter game. They're a little complex but I was younger when I started playing them and they were a lot of fun for me even when I died a lot. Hmm.. Let me think of some others.

Diablo 1
Diablo 2
Diablo 3
Torchlight
Torchlight 2
Path of Exile
League of Legends
Dota 2

uhh.....

PM me for more games if you want. Haha.

The sequel is more of a MOBA than anything, which I like the idea of. I have a feeling it will handle more like Smite but with more strategy. Maybe.
If you guys like computer games, then terraria might be a remedy for this. It is a 2d side scrolling game where you make stuff, and fight bosses. You find chests and make new weapons, and find people to trade with. It is easy to set up a server so you guys can play.

Oh wow, I've actually forgotten about Terraria. Makes me want to re-buy it and play it since it was on my old Steam that I lost access to.

Mhm I showed her Terraria and Starbound and explained to her the difference. She's enjoying Starbound but we're probably going to switch over to Terraria. For some reason (I'm guessing it has to do with it being in beta) I can no longer run it without it being buggy and crashing a bit.. so yeah. At the moment I'm throwing together a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-esque game so that I can help her understand game design (have her brainstorm and implement ideas such as abilities, items, additional rules, ect. and see how it works out) and whatnot, along with working within a pre-existing art style that's already established (she's got this down pretty well, though).
Give Rising Storm or War Thunder a try. If you're only wanting to play with someone else, definitely try War Thunder.

EDIT: Didn't read the first portion of the post, sorry.
