Last time I posted here was probably last year, so I doubt any of you remember me but I make digital paintings.
Right now I'm working on a semi self portrait. It's far from done but I figured I'd share and update the thread whenever I get a step closer to finishing it.

Done in Photoshop CS6 and Corel Painter X3. I will do the following steps in Corel Painter. I used a Wacom Intuos Pro.

I really like it. The picture fits the scene, as in the face and hair fits with the background. It's just a really nice portrait man. Everything is perfect especially, the eyes, eyebrows and nose. I'm going to have to give this a good 9.5/10

Nonetheless I feel like I messed up the nose now after blending :(

Edit; after deep thought I know the problem of the nose, will fix as soon as I work on it again.

The hair looks rather weird, it looks like a bunch of big sausages, her face needs more dark contrast imo.
Why is the area around he mouth so white ?

The hair is not yet done, as stated in the title it is a work in progress. I spent 5 minutes on the hair so yeah, it doesn't look good.

Quite, because of the lightening. Also her hair frames her face causing shadows. Generally speaking the skin around your lips is lighter since you're lips aren't flat (I'm not speaking about the whole area you selected, just a little around the lips) and chin as well.
Besides that I still need to apply a shadow under the lips between the chin and lower lip. It'll be done soon. Also will bring in more light spots on her forehead and nose soon.
I also like the demonic touch you brought to it ;)

Edit: I think you mean the hue is less saturated which is causing an 'odd' look overall, I just spotted it now viewing the image on my phone. I'll try to work on it.

Updated! Fixed the nose and the 'odd' white color area Spl33k3 told me about. Also redone the hair style and color.

Haha yes ^^ It's accurate as well since my left eye is blue.

Its really beautiful in my opinion, only thing i would make a remark on is the upper nose, pretty much exactly between the eyes.. it looks unsymetrical, which is not a bad thing by any means.. utterly subjective i guess? Well done nonetheless.

Yeah, no person is symmetrical haha. It's also a bit because of the eyebrows, I suppose.
