I just watched the first episode today. At first, I didn't think it was bad, but it wasn't like "good" either.
It was kind of like "Eh meh". Then it got further in, and then I was like "Holy shit, this is more gory then
Attack on Titan. That dude is a total badass". Lol.

I will say, I like the characters. I don't know how I feel about the plot yet. The action is damn good.
And...overall, I think I need a couple more episodes to decide.

I know what you mean. In the beginning I thought it was childish, but that changed after the full episode was over. It'll be interesting for sure.

Yanno the problems I have with people comparing LN and Mangas to anime adaptation for the last 5 years, yes 8 out of the 10 Anime adaptations aren't going to be as good as its source. The most recent fuck up is Gokukoku no Brynhildr.

Anyways just judging by the first episode and the low censorship so far, I'm really liking it.

It's given me a weird vibe so far. The animation style doesn't feel like it matches the general tone and goriness of the series so far. Its like Fairy Tale tried to go hardcore but the only change they made was blood and gore....

Some cliches here and there but not as bad as I first expected. On my watch list for sure.

I went ahead and read the manga and caught up because I've seen so many comments
saying that the anime was not up to par to the manga. I sort of agree but not entirely.
The anime did a pretty good job is staying almost the same as the manga.

I can't wait for episode two!

Very glad they gave it an R-17 rating which opens the anime to be gory like the manga. Not anything like the gore-fest of the manga, but that's an obvious downside to an adaptation.

Lacked the first episode production quality I've come to expect from great shows, but whatever I'll keep it on the watch list for now.

I've been looking forward to this anime for so long. And at the start, i totally thought the animation was so far apart from what i expected. The animation is like Fairy tail/Sword art online, and i couldn't actually see how it would be decent when it comes to gore.

I'm kind of happy that the main character isn't such a pussy, and had no hesitation what so ever to kill that girl. Looking good so far ;)

I mean sure, after they hinted at the corruption and the assassin guys I expected them to come fuck up the family, but I just assumed Aria was an innocent in this. And then that twist, was like "lol fuck your preconceptions". I enjoyed this episode a lot.
