Hello all. I've been inactive for a while here but I hope to come back. I wrote up a tutorial for Over The Wire's bandit wargame. I'd repost it here, but the formatting would be awful and I don't really feel like rewriting it, so I'll just link to the post on my blog.

Just finished it up today. Hope you all enjoy. It is a really great wargame to get started with Linux security. A ton of fun, and very entry level for those of you that want that first step into the art of hacking. Stuff like this is important, not all the ewhoring and facebook hacking.

OTW Bandit: The Bandit wargame is aimed at absolute beginners. It will teach the basics needed to be able to play other wargames.
There are a ton of other, much more difficult, wargames that OTW offers. I personally find them great little challenges! On that note, if anyone has other wargames or CTF's please PM me to let me know, because I would love to have more challenges!

P.S, if it is against the rules to just post a link as a tutorial let me know and I will take this down. I wasn't able to find anything prohibiting it, so I'm sorry if it is against the rules. Remember I've been gone a while :P
