Before I get started I'll state why I'm making this thread. One - for the lack of an existing thread. Two - somewhat personal reasons but also to help others who are searching for for visual novels. Three - A central area where people can look to find a visual novel without dedicating themselves to making a thread.
I'll get a proper thread graphics as time progresses, currently I'm focusing on the main part of this thread.

The purpose of this thread is to create a sort of index of Anime Adventures users suggestions on visual novels. They can put up Visual Novels for suggestions following the format to help other users find what they might be looking for.

What is a "Visual Novel?"
A visual novel is the name for an interactive visual game that usually has static graphics, lots of dialogue or text to read, and can vary from being clean as a whistle to dirty as hentai. It follows a similar art style to anime and many times takes place in some place in Japan. Authentic visual novels are sold in Japan or exported outside of Japan. Usually these can be found on popular sites that sell Japanese items and such. It is usually abbreviated as VN although the ones that contain some adult content may be referred to as "eroge games."

Is there already a resource that has a list of Visual Novels?
Yes there is. That resource is called vndb.org. However the site is just a sort of database mixed with a wiki for visual novels. It's a total mash-up of visual novels that are input into a sort of database using tags. This thread isn't meant to take that resource over but give anyone who is curious about VNs a starting place. It could also be a place for seasoned veterans to find something new. Navigating vndb is easy however finding something that actually can pique your interest is somewhat tough, I know from experience.

How will this thread work?
Be patient, I'll get to that.

Suggestion Format
If you so wish to add a suggestion to this list all you simply need to do is follow this format. However before you can follow the format I have to remind you to follow the rules of HF, so no linking to warez, torrents, adult content, etc. Also please do not try and spoil any VN's you see or suggest. If you wish to discuss it with someone, private message that user to talk about it. However before you decide to pass judgement on any VN you might be interested in, please take a look at the VNdb page before you make a decision. Some of the format may rely on somewhat of a biased opinion on what the suggester thinks. Form your own opinion rather than believing that of others. I do encourage anyone to ask questions on any Visual Novels they see if any questions they have could be answered by those who suggested it.
You may only link to the vndb.org page for the VN. I am not responsible for what you post and if you post a link that isn't allowed, I will not add your suggestion to the main post. This is because I consider vndb to be a neutral site.

As time passes and suggestions are made I will try to add as many VNs as I can. If I can no longer edit the thread for reaching a character limit, I will create some sort of viewable document.

It will take your feelings, grind them into a fine paste, then build them up into hopes only to shatter them again mercilessly while making you cry your eyes out. You will get actual PTSD after finishing it, and your entire perspective on books and VN's in general will be completely shifted after reading this. Don't take it lightly.)

I'll be posting more when I dig up my VN's folder. Also, perhaps considering adding the picture from the vndb page in a spoiler next to the VN's name? Unless it would go over the image limit of sorts. Some coloring for each VN name would be nice, perhaps a light blue.
