Want to learn how to edit like this?! The Brotherhood VFX Student program allows uneducated members of HackForums to advance in the field of Video Editing. We have assignments that teach one the fundamentals as well as inspire them to strive to become a fantastic video editor, all it takes is some work.

We have no requirements, other than your will to learn how to edit videos like the video above. Please note that gaming edits are not the only thing that we specialize in, you can learn a large variety of categories to edit to. Dgb1tch as well as myself are mentoring all students enrolled in this program and love to do so, there are no questions that are too simple for us to answer.

• Why are you interested in Video Editing in particular?: I took media & photography in college and would like to learn how to professionally edit videos.

• Why should we choose you?: I am available all the time and will be decicated to learn, Media is my career path and learning to edit will help me out alot in the future! I have a little experience with Final Cut Pro and have around £5k worth of Final Cut Effects and flares which I could share with other members if they need them.

• Why are you interested in Video Editing in particular?: I'm interested in video editing because of the amazing things you can do to enhance a video. I find it somewhat very cool to see the different effects in a video.

I got very demotivated, but now I'm motivated than ever to learn again and learn how to improve.

• Why should we choose you?: I'm very eager to learn and improve my video editing skills. I'd like to be your student and learn more on how to improve and be better at video editing. I have time in my day that I could be using to learn things like this.

• Why are you interested in Video Editing in particular?: I have always liked AMV's (Anime Music Videos) and tried to make my own a few month's ago. Let's just say it turned out like shit, and because I had no one to help me or teach me or give me any type of real focus I sort of just gave up on it. I would love to get back into this as creating something such as this after working hard on it is extremely satisfying. Being able to tell a story within a short time frame and make the work visually flow as the story progresses is an art that I personally enjoy.

• Why should we choose you?: I am an extremely hard worker who has the time to dedicate himself to learning. I am open and easy to work with. I take criticism of all kinds and use it to better myself. I have some experience in both VFX and graphic editing. I offer a unique look and experience on video editing in the sense that I will be working with animation. I am online everyday, am easy to communicate with, and will do everything in my power to learn and utilize the resources I will be provided by experienced VFX artists such as yourselves. I cannot say that I am the best at what I do, but I can say I am one of the hardest workers you will meet. If given the opportunity I hope to show that. Thank you.

• Why are you interested in Video Editing in particular?:I have always thought that it would be awesome to animate. Creating action with a computer has always made something click for me. Editing also makes this happen. I also take a class in school where we work with video for a news show. Video and working with it is very interesting for me. I am also starting to go around in the VFX section and look at the threads to get an idea of VFX.
  


• Link previous work (if none, link the edit you want to strive to achieve): No public ones, they are all stored in school servers. I created some rudimentary animated gifs, by editing one frame at a time. I also, cut video and worked with a green screen. Nothing fancy.

  Just short animations, and good edits. I also like movie SFX, but I couldn't get examples of them. Just general SFX. For example, explosions, fog, etc.Though Star Trek phaser blasts appealed to me! :D
  


• Why should we choose you?:I will be a very dedicated student. I love to learn new things, and to explore technology and art. I also wish to teach what I learn to others, and spread knowledge. I am also very eager, and happy to learn everything and anything you can teach me! Finally, video editing will be very helpful with everything I do. In the HF radio I am making, I could create cool videos to go with the broadcasts!

• Why are you interested in Video Editing in particular?:
I've been interested in video editing for quite a long time now, my interest in it began when I started playing cod4 competitively on the PC, obviously. I'm also very interested in it in general , I think it would be a great thing to learn and is a great skill. It's not only gaming frags I'm interested in I'm also interested in stuff like intros, regular editing etc.

I don't have any previous work, as I stated above I've never had the resources to learn this skill properly. The edit level I strive to achieve us basically in the videos I listed in the section below this paragraph.

I think you should choose me because I have a genuine interest in video editing, graphics and the like as I stated above in the first paragraph. I'm a student that is willing to learn new skills and work very hard at whatever it is. I feel that I would fit right in with the group and would overall be an asset.
