so i am putting together a program to get passwords from firefox and chrome. what the code does is copies the firefox and chromes profiles to decrypt when you get home. i can copy the firefox profile but i need help with the chrome one. what ever i try it doesnt work

xcopy C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox %~dp0 /e

xcopy C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default %~dp0 /e

theoretically it should work but its not, anyone got any ideas ??

The space in "User Data"? Maybe put the path in quotes?

yeah the firefox works just not the chrome
also tried

it either copies bits of the profile or none at all

im not getting everything tho just tmp files
i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit if that matters

I see what's the problem here these folder are read only and xcopy doesent work well with read only attributes so what do we have to do?
We have to change them :P (Sadly we cannot change them when chrome is working because he is returning them back so either close your chome or write taskkill /f /im chrome.exe )

of course i didnt think of that not working if chrome was running, im such an idiot.

thankyou my good sir, you are a genius. now i can steal everything like passwords, cookies, history ect. and the decrypter im using for the passwords works great with the copied file. :D
