Got a new mouse and I think that it has mouse acceleration, is there a way to stop that?

I can't get the mouse software and I think the driver is forcing mouse acceleration on.

I need it off and have tried the windows REG setting things that people have made but I think it is still being forced on.

If it helps, my mouse is called: Maplin Pro Wired V-Track Mouse.

Yeah euhm.

Thats the problem with what you just bought there.

Its not even a Maplin mouse.
They just take some mouse and rebrand it.
Finding the true name of that mouse would be the first pain in the ass step.
Once that is done, finding the drivers/software should be easy.

This is why I stay away from unknown brands.

Every mouse says that.
Not much you can do besides spend hours trying to find a mouse that looks exactly the same and then to find the name. You kinda screwed yourself basically.

I play myself Cs 1.6 and got a a4tech x7.
Pm and i can help you remove the acceleration on Windows.

Can't find it on there :C It looks very similar to them and has the walking man on it but is none of them :c

Control Panel (Set it to category) -> Ease of access -> Change how your mouse works (Small option below Ease of access center) -> Set up Mouse Keys (Blue option right in the middle) -> In the "Pointer speed" part, set "Acceleration" to 0.
