I'm surprised nobody has tried to help you yet. With that kind of budget you could get one hell of a laptop. Personally I'm a big fan of ASUS and MSI when it comes to laptops, but with that budget i guess you might be able find a good one from Alienware even if its potentially overpriced.

If you want a gaming laptop i suggest it has windows 7 an ssd and 8-16 gb of RAM 8 is perfect 16 if just overkill but is needed if you do alot of rendering and a good gpu
alienwares are good because they offer all of that good stuff but ofcourse at a high ass price
and the ones this guy posted are nice but have windows 8 and dont have and SSD
issue with windows 8 is i see alot of complaints with games and applications on that OS than you do with 7
and a SSD will let you boot up games and your OS much faster.

so pretty much
Windows 7
8-16 GB RAM
SSD with 300+GB for games and OS
and a GPU 870m+ is preferred due to it will handle newer games and will have to upgrade much later

I have MSI Ge70, Cost about 1500$ about a year ago. Have been working flawless with everything i could ever need it. I would recommend for you the new MSI gaming series laptops.

2100 is too much you can get lot cheaper ones. Don't go for "best"...even "better" ones work more than expectations 🙂

Personally I spent about $2,700 on my MSI and have NEVER regreted it.

If you ended up ordering that laptop from amazon and have an account in good standing consider pulling a refund ( contact amazon and tell them you received an empty box ). Sounds lame but I do it every 60-90 days on high end orders and get refunded + keep merchandise ( they will also offer an additional reship of item in lieu of refund ). You won't have to play email tag or prove your case in any way.
