I just saw a news story where a guy got 8 YEARS IN PRISON FOR MURDER. LIKE.. WHAT? WHAT?!?!
So he literally ENDED SOMEONE'S LIFE, and got a tiny fraction of his in prison, where he'll also probably have the opportunity to get out early.
This isn't even uncommon. Like, why is a life sentence or a death penalty not the only form of retribution for murder? Is it so much to ask that people who kill others get their lives taken away as well? Of course, there would be exceptions, like self defense, but in the case of straight up murdering someone you don't like, then getting 8 years in prison makes me want to punch a wall.
I always find it funny when those human rights groups start shouting about botched executions on the grounds that it was inhumane. What the criminal did to his victims was inhumane, but we're supposed to be humane to him? Seriously, an eye for an eye is the way to go.

Imo life in prison is worse than death. People who commit murder should receive life in prison not death as they are let out easily.

I believe in an eye for an eye for everything.
So for rape, the rapist gets raped.
Molestation the molester gets molested.
Assault the assaulter gets assaulted.
Murder the murderer gets murdered.
etc...
The people that do the rape to the rapist and the molesting to the molestor do not get charged as it will be a type of punishment.
This is the way I think it should be done, just to show how it feels.
If they like it, do something that probably wouldn't like.. something like shoving a pineapple into their asshole.

I believe you should get life in prison for murder.
The death penalty was an easy way out, if you want to punish someone put them in prison for the rest of their pathetic lives.
I've also read stories where someone would speak up against a murderer, he'd go to prison. During his trial, he would literally tell the court 'When I get out, i'm gonna kill the person who told on me.' oh low and behold, they let him out and WOAH BIG SURPRISE HE WENT OUT AND MURDERED THE PERSON THE WITNESS THAT TESTIFIED AGAINST HIM THE FIRST TIME.
"oh, when you get out of prison, you are gonna murder again?"
"Yup"
"Okay. 5 years it is."
Like, what the fuck?
If it's a serial killer and it's pretty apparent that the person is guilty, I'd definitely say that the death penalty is the way to go. Why should thousands be wasted on some dude to be in prison his whole life till death?

You won't believe me, but did you know the death penalty is actually more expensive to do than life in prison?
It costs more money to put someone to death than it does to keep them in prison. Over 1.2 million for each convict sentenced to death.
I believe in it.
Someone fucks with anyone in my family or anyone I deeply care about...they're going to have serious problems with me.
They want to murder someone close to me? They'd better hide good and prey I don't find them.

In Canada you get 5 Years for attempted, 10 for actually killing the guy.
If you don't murder him in weird ways you get 7

That's why there should be a cheaper way to kill someone off. E.g. Drown them in a lake or something (it could be called death lake). I have no sympathy at all for people that kill multiple people for no reason.
