How to know which version of MinGW compiler is installed in my computer?

I tried Google and in stackoverflow, one of the dude said:

Go to bin directory and do gcc --version.

I didn't get it. Can someone please help me?

EDIT: I got it. We need to do that in Command Prompt and I was searching for a file called as gcc.

Solved. Can be closed.
