Hey guys, I was watching a video on YouTube about getting a partnership. I saw that getting a partnership with Youtube is bad, for gamers because every single thing you don't own, someone will sue.
Here is the vid I watched:

So, I have a Partnership with YouTube ATM, and I wanted to get one with Machinima. I first wanted to know how to leave my partnership with YouTube and how to get one with Machinima. Also, when I was reading to what the Machinima app wanted to do, I was a little unapproving of what it said. It wanted to control my youtube account, control my google accounts and email, and kinda creeped me out. I don't want Machinima all up in mah grill. Does anyone know what this means or where I can find out more about partners? Thanks.
I actually never knew about this, thanks a ton for the video share man.
Not true. I have Black Ops 2, Ghosts, and GTA videos on 2 channels that are both with YouTube. Monetized and all as well. YouTube nor Machinima own rights to the gameplay so it doesn't matter who you network up with if this is true.
iHydra there have been many incidents where the user posting the videos doesn't get 'caught' with the recorded videos until months or possibly years later. And in that time you will possibly face charges and may have a few lawsuits on your hands. It makes lots of sense IMO. So anyway, can you help me answer the question I asked? You seem like you know a lot about this stuff. I just disabled monetizing videos, you can tell me what you think is correct but I just want to partner with someone else. I tried partnering with Freedom partnership but they wanted to 'Control my youtube account' and 'control my email account' etc. I didn't like reading this. How can I get logos and all that stuff from youtube and the banners? Etc, thanks.

Those 2 are the easiest but again, if it's copyrighted material, no network will prevent a lawsuit...

2 years old with almost 13k views. MW3 footage, no copyright strikes.
Are you sponsored or partnered by anyone? Do you get paid with an Adsense and stuff? And I checked out your channel. Really cool!
I don't understand how you could post this and not post anything about the song

And not get it removed. Are you monetizing? And should I go with AwesomenessTVnetwork or Machinimanetwork. I do gaming vids, simple hacking/bullshit 'coding' stuff. My friends told me to create one so they could know how to do it and I guess I'm not terrible on YT. So I could upload a video of me playing watch dogs with knife party backround music, as long as I'm giving credit to Knife Party and I monetize that video after being partnered with ATV or Machinima, I won't get sued or shit? And how do I remove my partnership with YT, I already disabled monetizing ATM.
And what screen recorder do you use and where did you get your intro. :p sorry for being newb.

The HecticHydra(retired) one is with AwesomenessTV and I have another one which I use now ( http://youtube.com/user/FatalHydra ) is with YouTube for now. And again, it's up to the copyright holder to issue a lawsuit, not YouTube. Obviously there are some publishers who spoke with YT and told them they don't want ANY of their content reposted on YT so they take it down but gaming? Nope.. every gaming publisher WANTS their game on YT for it to get viral and popular.
And if that's the case, Machinima as it's more gaming oriented. Music is more strict - try to look for music that isn't copyrighted. https://www.youtube.com/user/SwagyTracks are great and the channels they listed in their Swagy Box are great too. As for removing partnership, I am not too certain. I think it either overwrites the current partnership or you can't change. Giving credit and saying the music is NOT yours is the best way to go, so if you want to play it safe and clean, give credit to author and say you don't own nor claim it yours. Monetizing gets trick with that so again, use non-copyrighted music.
I use Snagit by Techsmith Studio to record; I found a template somewhere on YouTube and edited it.
PS: I'd like to tell you right now that I know nothing about YT and it's networks. What I told you is from my knowledge and experience, I'm no YT Guru. Although what I told you is what I believe is true, I could although be incorrect. So get what I said confirmed as this can turn into a big issue.
Okay, but what about this:
his app would like to:
Know who you are on Google Click for more information
View your email address Click for more information
Manage your YouTube account Click for more information
View YouTube Analytics reports for your YouTube content Click for more information
View your YouTube account Click for more information
View and manage your AdSense data
It would like to manage all this stuff, and I'm kinda scared to let them do that.

They all do that. It just gives the API/Website the ability to read your views and subs, etc.
And is Snagit a fast recorder? Is it worth the money? I need a screen recorder that is a light program and doesn't lag. Thanks
