Got the idea of making a thread tommorow. It will basically be the ALS Ice bucket challenge, but instead of choosing people on a social network, you will nominate someone from HF. Same rules apply and we could even add all of the video challenges to one big YouTube playlist.
How does this sound? Leave a yes or no on the poll to voice your opinion. Any ideas or extended input can go below.

Update #1: Perhaps Video submissions can be in the form of a Gif if a user is not down to upload a yT video.
Update #2:Feel free to support the cause on your own accord, but if this is to be, the only purpose is to raise awareness to the cause. In no way shape or form will someone be required to donate if they fail to answer a nomination.
Yes, no, maybe? Who knows, do you even think any of the so called "popular" users of HF are even up for this? My guess, most likely not.

I'd be down for doing this 100%. It's a shame really because the majority wouldn't, even if this could be a pretty good turnout in raising awareness. 😠

Popularity is not really my main target here. I'm looking for a large community fueled event, but I won't make it unless the community is up for it.
I still have some rules to think about so if anyone has suggestions that would be great.

I think is a good idea because spreading awareness is the most tricky part. Not that is done ALS-Guys can go and collect some money^^
Also, in the last 2 weeks there were more than 3 million $ donated to ALS-Organisations, which only happened, because lots of people got aware of this disease !!
