There is this Mac software called Password Pad Lite http://www.password-pad.com . It is a simple text editor (like notepad) that allows you to create a password for each file you create. When you make a new file it immediately asks you to create a password before allowing you to type in your notes and then save the file.
When it asks you to create a password it states that it uses XOR encryption. The paid version uses Triple DES but the files I am trying to recover are just the free version with XOR encryption.
The files have a .pwdpl extension.
Can anyone help me with what I need to do and which software I need to find these passwords or to decrypt the text?
