[Question]Decompile exe back to sourcecode

Hello fellow brothers and sisters, i have a question is there a way to decompile an exe program back from its source code?i've downloaded an exe file created in vb6 and it is a program that test your skills in hacking (created by a friend). 😧 i want to decompile it to read the code and bypass the login and other test in the program. is there a way to do that?😧😧
Download SimpleAssemblyExplorer

Regards,
Yes you can theres lots of programs to do so but its hard if they obfuscated the code.
thank you rkyda and whymodz. though it would be hard. i got the answer thank you
Yes, if the program that has been developed is fairly easy and not complicated. Most of the variables wont be named the same etc, it will come back with a shit load of errors.

Regards,

please learn to talk only about stuff you know, sorry.
SAE wont work with vb6
http://www.vb-decompiler.org/ - This shows you part of the "source code"... It does not decompile the application completely however... I don't know if that this is the best method, but it is a way to see some of the code residing in the application... Better than nothing, typically...

http://www.program-transformation.org/Tr...ecompilers - A list of other Decompilers... And things related to Decompiling VB applications...
Hopefully this is of atleast some use...

Although it sounds like what you are wanting is an interactive debugger (such as http://www.ollydbg.de/)... That way you can save the assembly without a need for a login window or whatever (probably)... >:)
These guys would probably be of help with a good debugger, or how to go about getting what you need (arguably even better than us): Reverse Engineering
This contain some some good tips: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4403406
I post my opinions, please try not to be offended... I am not saying I am superior, but my interpretation of what you are saying may be befuddling.
