Is there anyway to do this? I've been using wine to run Windows apps recently, however the apps that require .net framework will not open. I've tried to install .net framework using wine and had no luck. Just wondering if anyone else has ever gotten this to work.

Not going to work, it's too complicated for Wine to run, and unless you pop it on a Windows VM you're out of luck. Sorry.
