Excluding naruto, dbz, bleach and that shit.

Right now I'm really into akame ga kill, Tokyo ghoul, and sao.

Is there any other mainstreams i should be watching?

Aldnoah.Zero? Zankyou no Terror? I mean that's trending right now.

The best mainstream? I'd say Space Dandy because the only mainstream I watch is on Toonami. Anything else I watch is from Crunchyroll or other anime sites.

Claymore is my personal favorite, it has a really interesting story line. Another good one would be Full Metal Alchemist
Dragon.

Yeah. SAO is a given. Is Clannad considered mainstream?

SAO is probably the most main stream other than Attack on Titan if it were to come out in the same season.

I'd have to say that Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the best mainstream anime. I don't like it that much personally though.

Best mainstream, as in most people who get into anime watch it? I'd say FMA:B.

Soul Eater is one of the best mainstream anime out there. SAO is worse than trash, but mainstream and overrated as well.

Completely agree with you on Soul Eater. Didn't like the ending though.
