Simple Combo Switcher

Well I checked few other sources yesterday, which used hella long source to switch the combos.

So I checked it myself, since I had a simplier style to do it. So well all you would need is 2 listboxes, 3 textboxes, progressbar and button.

so do the sub and insert,
Code
For Each combos In ListBox1.Items
Dim combo() As String = TextBox3.Text.Split(":")
TextBox1.Text = combo(0)
TextBox2.Text = combo(1)
ListBox2.Items.Add(TextBox2.Text & ":" & TextBox1.Text)
ProgressBar1.Value += 1
Next

This will split the combo, add pass/email to textbox1 and the other half to textbox2.

now double click the first listbox add,
Code
TextBox3.Text = ListBox1.SelectedItem
This will add the selected combo to textbox3.

You can double click the button make it have,
Code
ProgressBar1.Maximum = ListBox1.Items.Count
ProgressBar1.Value = 0
Switch()

Also to exit the sub you can do it this way,
Code
If ProgressBar1.Value = ProgressBar1.Maximum Then
MsgBox("Done")
Exit Sub
End If

Basically here we have a combo switcher which can switch pass:user to user:pass . This is the veery simple way to do this, tho there are more ways which I checked and the code was 5x longer.

If im missing something could you be kind enough to say :D
That has to be the worse source ever, you are not even using 'combos' if your for loop.
You didn't even name your controls
You are using 'MsgBox'.
Why are you storing the values in a textbox and not a string?

0/10 even Haze could do better.

But OP has a progressbar. 10 points for that.

Luke. Wut did I tell you?
But I agree with you though lol 😏

Also, why didn't you allow the user to save to .txt? Isn't that the whole point?

Was lazy to add the loop, I wrote this while I made this tut :D textbox was easier also
wtf? a textbox was easier? Learn to program before making retard threads.
ur code is real mass first u split textbox3 to textbox 1 and 2 then u add them to listbox2 when u can add textbox3
why u loop listbox1 items if u dont use it

not really, that was my point in the start to see the process what it does, since I used timer in the first time.

The file you posted won't download for me, but what you posted makes me want to smash my head on my desk.

How could you ever even come up with using a timer for something like this 😶

I read that code you just sent me. The reason why his code is longer is because he adds an importing and exporting feature. And he actually switches properly.
try it
ListBox1.Items.AddRange({"1:2", "3:4"})
ListBox2.Items.AddRange(ListBox1.Items)

and for the split
For Each s In ListBox1.Items.Cast(Of String).Select(Function(l) l.Split(":"))
' Do what u want with them
'TextBox1.Text = s(0)
'TextBox2.Text = s(1)
Next
