Review
If you've ever seen the movie Inception, it's a little bit like it, but on a much different scale. The world of Paprika is colorful, vivid, and huge. The best way to describe it, would be, well... trippy. The visuals are one of the high points of the movie, overwhelming you with great scenery and animation. It's a film worth watching on Blu-Ray, to say the least. Aside from the visuals, Paprika is a movie you really have to pay attention to to fully understand, so no scrolling through Twitter halfway in the movie, or you'll be upset and confused. With the movie being based around dreams, there will be some real "what the heck" moments, where some things won't make sense, until you realize they're in a dream. The movie's story is great, taking you on twists and turns you'd never expect to happen. Without spoiling anything, I'll say that it definitely didn't happen as I expected it to. Story, characters, and visuals are all good in my book. The soundtrack was average.

The best way to explain Paprika, would be to not explain it at all. It's a movie you really can't put into words. It's also a movie that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a futuristic fantasy, whether you like anime or not. It makes you yourself wonder if you're in a dream. Paprika gets a 4.5 out of 5 from me.

Where To Watch
As of now, the only legal way to watch Paprika is to buy the DVD or Blu-Ray. It is available online in many places, but I'm sure you can investigate that on your own.

Definitely worth the watch. The fact that I got my family to sit down and watch it all the way through was pretty great, Satoshi Kon hasn't let me down yet.
Apparently the movie Inception was inspired from Paprika. Anyway I saw it and did not understand what the fuck was going on at all. But apart from that it was a great watch!
