(Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8?) Seeing it is an used computer and ADWcleaner already fixed some of your issues, you might want to do a scan with Malware Bytes and free up some space with CCleaner while fixing some registry issues and cleaning up the startup items with it. Also make sure you have a good anti-virus & firewall installed, personally I could recommend Panda antivirus with Comodo firewall for good protection, but Avast! or Avira Free are also valid options. If you wish to spend money and get solid protection, go with the Kaspersky suite. This could make the computer appear to be working faster/more smooth and of course, a lot more protected if you followed through all these steps :) Good luck and enjoy! |
