Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu

Parasyte -the maxim-

Description courtesy of Wikipedia

Based on Iwaaki Hitoshi's science-fiction horror manga by the same name.

The 17-year-old Izumi Shinichi lives with his mother and father in a quiet neighborhood in Tokyo. One night, worm-like aliens called Parasytes invade Earth, taking over the brains of human hosts by entering through their ears or noses. One Parasyte attempts to crawl into Shinichi's ear while he sleeps, but fails since he is wearing headphones, and enters his body by burrowing into his arm instead, taking over his right hand and is named Migi.

Because Shinichi was able to prevent Migi from traveling further up into his brain, both beings retain their separate intellect and personality. As the duo encounter other Parasytes, they capitalize on their strange situation and gradually form a strong bond, working together to survive. This gives them an edge in battling other Parasytes, who frequently attack the pair upon realization that Shinichi's human brain is still intact. Shinichi feels compelled to fight other Parasytes, who devour humans as food, while enlisting Migi's help.

I'm super hyped for this show, I've had it on my watch list since I found out there would be an anime adaption to the popular 90's manga counterpart. I don't watch many horror anime but recently I've found well done one's to be really enjoyable, I mean c'mon, Kiseijuu is even being produced by Madhouse. The first episode is still a few days away so prepare yourself 🎉

And please, for the sake of people that have yet to watch it, use spoiler tags.
Damn, the manga for this anime was amazing in my opinion.
Once I started reading, I could not stop and I ended up binge reading the entire series.

Can't wait for the premiere!

Cool.

I'm pretty hyped right now, episode one should air tomorrow.
Madhouse you say? My interest is peaked, but the plot looks 2 derpy for me m8.

When I first heard of this, I wasn't sure if this'd be any good, but I saw a trailer a few weeks ago, and I'll definitely be watching it.

First episode is supposed to air today if I'm not mistaken. Looking forward to this.

Personally I'm glad they're adapting an old manga for once. Although Madhouse did make a few major changes in the character design department to modernize the atmosphere a bit, they will no doubt respect the plot and story progression in the manga, including the ending. Although it might take a few seasons, they will adapt it from start to finish I'm sure.
Never got around to finish reading the manga myself, but I do know people who absolutely love it. Enough to get me hyped.

Or better yet, a Blood-C, in which case I will proceed to kill myself.
Currently watching the first episode and I say this is actually pretty awesome.
What in the fuck did I just watch? Definitely going to be the most interesting show this season.
Mad House just shit on every Censor heavy series this year.

Wtf did I just watch.

I don't understand why shows like Tokyo Ghoul get heavily censored and then you get shows like this that have no censoring at all it seems. Regardless, the first episode was really cool and left me with a lot of questions. It's going to be a bitch waiting a week between episodes.

I also really liked the music throughout the show.

Exactly the same. The OST is extremely perfect.
Also it's going to be real hard to freaking wait..
I just downloaded it, can't wait to watch it sounds pretty good, loving the psychological sub genre's this season :D
