Why would you switch from having multiple webbrowsers to webrequests? Makes no sense.

He should just create multiple request using the same client

I would also recommend actually naming your buttons so people can actually understand what the button does eg. "startBtn, closeBtn" etc. These are habits you have to start doing or else its a pain in the ass for everyone else trying to understand your code.
