Introduction:

It's that time of the year again! A time when us anti-social outcasts come together and embrace the season of giving! A time when otaku and weeb alike, put aside their differences and share their love of the Japanese art-form that brought us all together. Welcome my snow-skinned brethren, to the 2014 Anime Adventures Secret Santa event. Remember, it's the thought that counts...unless you're rich.

Overview:

If this is your first time participating, you may be a bit perplexed by this thread, so lemme fill you in.

In this event, members of AA come together and give the gift of giving...gifts. Basically, you sign up with the intent of giving a gift to another member of the forum, the only thing is, you don't know initially who you're getting as your gifting partner, and they don't know who is sending a gift to them. Only those who meet the requirements (displayed below) may participate. Please know that these requirements are to lessen the chance of members not receiving gifts from unknowns or anons. If you wish to participate, follow the instructions below and remember to give generously!

* Participants will be grouped by region to reduce shipping costs where possible.

Requirements:


These are the requirements you must fulfill in order to participate in this year's Secret Santa event:

• You must have at least 100 posts in the AA section BEFORE THE TIME OF THIS THREAD'S CREATION. Basically means you can't spam AA to meet the requirement just to get gifts.
  
• You must have the ability to send and receive parcels in the mail or have a valid email address where you can receive digital gifts or items (gift codes, website subscriptions etc.)
  
• You must have at least $20 (+shipping/applicable fees) to invest in this event.
  
• You must be free of any scam reports on your account.
  
• Gifts sent must have some connection to anime or Japanese culture.
  

*Acceptance into this event is at my sole discretion. I look into all accounts participating in this event. Any undesirable members will be denied admittance.
