I know what you're gonna say, the error message itself says the reason you can only junk 1 thread every 24 hours is to prevent abuse of this, maybe hiding threads you scammed in etc. But this would be incredibly helpful if you have many many many pages of threads and potentially have released information over time that can be used to identify you, and it would be hard to go into each and every thread such as that and edit out the title and body, and then close it.

Ideas to stop abuse of this feature:

1) You can not use this feature to junk your marketplace threads

2) Limit users to using this feature once a month

3) Multiple-thread-junk requests must be approved first (Not necessary, only for added prevention of abuse of this feature.)

Looking for any input, I for one would love to see this implemented and definitely use it myself to clear out my 11 some pages of threads. If too many holes are popped into this i'll probably just close it, thanks.

Some users want to remove all traces of personal info, but it's a piss-take if you have to do it across the space of 3 weeks lmfao.

Yes, by no means explain how you came to that conclusion.

And the staff/mentors reviewing it is not an integral part of this what so ever, I think the main thing is not allowing this feature to be used on marketplace threads.

Like I mentioned I personally don't think it would be necessary for staff/mentors to review submissions, but even if Omniscient thought that would be required for this feature to be implemented, there could perhaps be limits on how often you can submit a mass-junk request, like once a month for example.

I can't understand why you would want to junk all your previous threads. It doesn't make you look good by having a smaller amount of threads and causes other user's posts to get deleted as well.

Omni has rf'd/banned members who mass edit threads to say "Delete this" or w.e.
Omni also added a 24 hour limit on it for a reason as well, he wants to limit the use of it.

As you said so yourself, ub3rs can only junk one thread at a time to prevent abuse of the feature. Removing this limitation, even once a month, only allows users to abuse it again without any sort of prevention.

If your concern is about personal information, remember that ub3rs and l33ts do not have a time limit on when you can edit your threads. Any instance you wouldn't be able to edit your post are also ones in which you wouldn't be allowed to junk anyway.

Regardless, you shouldn't be posting things you don't want to post anyway.
