[C++/MySql] Connector Issues, Visual Studio 2013 Express Edition.

Hello,

Me and my fellow college fellows are planning on developing an offline version of the "Team Task Management System - Producteev" in C++ (Windows 32 Bit Console Application).

So, my question is how to connect MySql/C++ Connector to Visual Studio 2013 as I unable to do it even after reading the Docs provided by MySql or StackOverflow. Because my application will have a database being populated on every registration and team, project or task formation, that has to stay there till the account or project has not been deleted completely.

Any help from here would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

This is a real issue I got myself not long time ago.
Unfortunately, I did not found any fixes for that except compiling under Linux (Which did worked).
But as for now, I think the connector is broken (And it is from a long time ago ...)

So either you compile the lib yourself (Which did not worked for me because and I have not tested to fix the code because I was lazy) or either you switch your OS, or either you use another connector (Which could fuck up your code, and if you are lazy like me, this could be a BIG issue 😏 )

Edit : I'm listening to this thread as this issue can help me too, for the Windows x86/x64.

Perhaps you can send us extended informations about your issue, such as your exact OS base and lib base, errors messages when you try to compile your project or the connector lib, etc ...
So are there any better or other solution than default MySql connector to link DB to my C++ Program?
