The reason I didn't put this in Group Recruitment because this is an anime newslette

- and so I want dedicated anime viewers. That means people who frequent this section. Thanks.

Anime Adventures Weekly

Anime Adventures Weekly (AA Weekly) is a volunteer run, weekly news post which summarizes the anime news for the previous week. Not only that, but it also includes news about Japan in general, it features anime, manga and visual novels reviews/highlights and even a song section for those musicians. The driving force behind all of this is just a small group of individuals. What I want for the future is a bigger team which means more content for the folks at AA and that is what this thread is about.

Recruitment

We're looking for members to join the team and help make AA Weekly bigger and better. If possible I would love for this to be on a similar level to HF News, and to do that I need help! Firstly I want to say, I'm not a tough boss. I don't mind if you need help spell checking or writing, but you still need a decent understanding of English. Other than that, the only rule I have is to make sure you hand in on deadline day. To make this flow smoothly I need everyone to be punctual, if you can't do this then please rethink before applying. Otherwise, here's a little checklist of skills we're looking for:

• Good understanding of English

• Punctual with deadlines

• Can work effectively in a team

• Quirky writing style*

*That means don't write boring one line sentences, have fun with it!

Positions

Here at AA Weekly, I like to give you the free reign to choose whatever position you want to work in, so if you like interviewing people, be an interviewer! Or if you like anime news, write the news! A question, I see "Music" and Gaming sections. General gaming/music or all related to anime aswell.

[Dragon.]

We need more writers guys. The AA News team is really understaffed, so we could really use all the help we can get. :)

[Buffy Summers]

Name: Michael
English Level (?/10): 10
Favourite anime and why?: Madoka Magica. The deconstruction of magical girls is compelling.

Favorite anime and why?: One piece; It may be cheesy but emotional attachment is big with this one, From watching start to finish I can almost guarantee you will be hooked at least to an extent to this anime. When you first start out, Luffy (Main Character) has a foolish dream, but throughout the series he trains, sometimes loses but wins his crewmate's trust by helping recover lost members, finding new ones and overall throughout the series achieving his dream to become the pirate king, During one piece he undergoes a few large training sessions which bring him closer to the goal, also his other crewmate's train also, and you really smile when you think back and see how much this series has changed for the better! It's the type of anime you either like or don't like, matter of personal preference really, I have re watched it twice and still gives me the chills during some scenes when Luffy and his crew overcome obstacles and show how much he has abstained and his will to win.
Section you wish to write for: Gaming News 1

A question, I see "Music" and Gaming sections. General gaming/music or all related to anime aswell.

As this is the AA section we would prefer it to be Japanese/Anime related so our readers are grasped by their interests.

I'll leave this open till the weekend and will close it then. Going to start picking some of you guys out over the week, hope to see some new faces helping out the weekly soon!

Any area that's overloaded and needs help.
I'll try my best to help.

[iMew]

Name: iMew
English Level (?/10): 8-9
Favourite anime and why?: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (Rebellion), I grew up with magical girl anime and seeing an entirely different interpretation of the genre amazed me. I loved the animation style, I loved the music, I loved most of the characters and there's nothing I can really complain about. I also have a Shaft fetish.
Section you wish to write for: Backup Writer, I can more or less write for all sections but don't have huge expertise in any so I feel like this would be the best fit. I just want to help out where possible.
