Starting Point

If I'm having a hard time hacking Wifi on Kali Linux, does that mean I would be bad at hacking and it might be harder for me to learn other things down the line? Or does it mean that I should not give up and move on to other things that might be easier for a beginner.

So is there anything easier then hacking wifi. Would you consider RATting to be easier?

I know hacking is not Magic and it's not "easy", but certainly there must be something that will be a good starting point for a noob.

My Goals as a hacker are to:

Learn new things.

Set up working RATs. (Not really to RAT people, I don't have time for that. I just wanna have the ability..)

Hacking Wifi

Learn to Code (of course this is something I have to teach myself and/ or go to College for.)

An Facebook accounts (I already know this will be more on the Advanced side.)
The meaning of life is... 42.
im a noob to but i suggest try exploiting games as a start
Well when I first started out hacking wifi networks was extremely easy. 90% of the people that lived around me were still using WPA encrypted networks which doesn't take much effort at all to crack. Now that's not the case as most people are using WPA/WPA2. They can still be cracked but it's just time consuming and not really worth it anymore to me. I've since progressed to coding and learning SQL injection. You need to look at what you ultimately want to achieve by becoming a hacker. Then set goals for yourself to learn things that lead up to big picture your trying to achieve. I myself would like to become a pentester. It took me a while to figure out and I've tried out many different things in the process. Just start small and work your up the chain. Learn to use Linux before trying to using kali to hack.

All you have listed has nothing to do with hacking. Setting up a RAT? "Hacking" Wifi? If you put a frozen pizza into your oven, do you consider it as cooking?

If you are serious about hacking, then the things you will need to learn are going to be C, x86/x86-64 assembly, a high-level scripting language (for example ruby) and computer architecture. You can not hack anything if you do not know how it works, so get familiar with memory management, process scheduling, etc.
Of course depending on what kind of hacking you want to do, this may vary. For web, you will need to learn about networks, server-side languages like PHP and well, servers themselves.

However, if you just wanna make a frozen pizza, then keep on reading in this subforum.
Note: RATing - Making someone run your .exe/.jar./.pdf etc, isn't really considered hacking.

I wouldn't give up. What are you having trouble with getting to work with WiFi hacking / Kali ? PM me if you need assistance.
PM for help
