This person disconnected their device from their old icloud account. Then I found a "welcome to icloud" email in their alternate (newer) email account. Then I used apple to send a password request to that email but nothing showed up. So apparently it's not connected.
I was thinking maybe they signed up with that and then changed to an @icloud email address. Is there any way to find their @icloud email? Or any alternate email they may have changed it to.
Or is there anything I'm missing / any ideas?
