Headphones not detected by Realtek Audio Manager

Not really sure what to write other than realtek manager wont recognize my headphones. It will pop up and ask "what kind of device it this?" but I select headphones then it goes away. Also my microphone is not showing up either. Both of these have been used on this pc many times before.

This is what it currently looks like https://gyazo.com/c94dbab5c4159e2d3229219a05ef96ea

What Ive tried:
Restarting
Using a different port
Disabling / Enabling the manager
Using the headphones on my phone (they work)

Ive tried pulling out my 'sound' window, I prompt to open it but it never pops up. So Im running out of ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated.
What is your computer brand and model ? Also, are you running Windows 7 32 or 64-bits ?

Download and install the following sound card drivers :

http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Dri...series.exe

Once done, restart your computer.

Are you inserting them in the right AUX ports directly on your motherboard and not on your computer case ?

Uh Im not really sure what you mean. Im inserting them into the port I always use which is my back ports connected to my motherboard.

Edit: I am connecting them to the ones directly on my motherboard yea.

Fixed this on my own by using system restore to 4 days ago. Well thanks aura for helping :)
