Couldn't think of another place to put this...

I really want live rain pour on my desktop wallpaper, I can't find anywhere that does this.

To understand what I mean, I want something similar to this video:






Is this possible at all? I really hope so it looks amazing.

I guess what you could do is create a .gif of rain and then use that.

But as for using a .gif on your desktop I'm not sure.

update: I have found a program that is close to what I'm after but still just seems so artificial.

It's called Animated Rain Desktop Wallpaper (surprisingly) by ArtDocks, really dodgy installation thought but is okay for the time being.

Have you tried Rainmeter? you'll probably have to make your own skin for this

Only software that i know of is Deskscapes, but it does work pretty well.

Windowblinds. Install it on your machine and you can use any video as the wallpaper. Just that the resolutions should be proper.
