I use Multibit. It's a really light weight wallet. If you know how to keep your computer secure and don't plan to store a lot of BTC in it then it should work for you.
I'm extremely interested in learning more about offline BitCoin wallets too....

I think they need to be verified across the network and printed out or something but I don't know too much about it...... yet.....

Sounds good mate cheers, I have heard of Multibit and since you suggested it i think i might go with that one, Nah not planning to store to big of numbers just big enough numbers to be worried about getting them stolen while using blockchain 🤗

Thanks!
Is there any reason no one uses the Bitcoin-QT client? I see posts like this all the time about offline wallets and which ones to use. Why not just use the official Bitcoin client? Also, regarding the wallets drain on Blockchain.info, it was a very limited key disclosure issue, that only affected wallets created during a two hour period or wallets that were unlocked and sent bitcoin during that period. If that wasn't you, your are still safe with your coins on blockchain, they aren't going to magically disappear unless your private key gets leaked(offline wallet can be drained if it's private key is exposed also) or if someone breaks into your account and sends coins from it(use 2FA and you should be fine).

Here are my thoughts:

Store large amounts of BTC very securely:
Paper Wallet

Store medium amount of BTC:
Online Wallet & Offline Wallet

Store small amount of BTC:
Online Wallet & Offline Wallet

Offline Wallet:
https://multibit.org/

Online Wallet:
https://blockchain.info/
https://www.coinbase.com/
Its a good idea an offline wallet. But for sync the wallet takes minimum 48 hours. And isn't comfortable for pay via your phone. I prefer blockchain.
Multi is better than Qt wallet. But either you choose, please encrypt with password especially if you intent to put a lot of money inside.
