"Day gain"
That's how much I've made today.
"Total Gain" is how much I've made total on those stocks.

Just do some reading and use a calculator.

I am not doubting you but you can use the usatoday portfolio tracker with play money, maybe some of the users here want proof of that, but I'm not worried about it. Best of luck with future trades man.
