Edits

Half of these edits are mysterious and wonder if they are edited from an iPhone or photoshop/lightroom.

My bets that he edits them a bit in Photoshop and then uses an app on iPhone, that or either he does it all in Photoshop. That's my opinion and damn that's one awesome insta account.

One of the best apps on Appstore is "Pomelo" for me.

That's just the smudge tool and some liquify, it's not too hard.

But that little rainbow effect, may that been an iPhone App or a serious graphic design?

none of these are 'serious graphic design'. just decent photography and lots of filters. I doubt these are mainly taken with a 'professional' camera, except for the odd few. most of them have no where near the quality of a real camera. these look simple enough to be done with mere apps. the guy probably has like 3 pages of them on his iphone.

hope your 'mysteries' are put to rest now. i'm 98% confident in my conclusion.

Not available for work at this time. Apologies for any inconveniences.

Uh... what do you mean? They look like regular photos which have had a few adjustments in Photoshop. You can do basically any 'edit' in Photoshop.

All the 'edits' I'm seeing were probably done in Photoshop. It's not hard.

I can help if you want, point out something specific.
I knew a guy who edited his photos very similar to that. He never told me the name of the app but he said he paid for it in the app store. Not photoshop.

Yup, they're just instagram kids who like to mess around with their cameras and take seemingly profound shots. I know girls that can't operate a dslr but are obsessed with taking "unique" shots and overediting so they have like 30k followers

Nah that looks pretty easy to do. Idk the exact method because it's not my kind of thing, but if I was going to recreate it I'd probably get some brush spots of colour and then smudge/liquify those along with the face. It's also possible he pen tooled the eyes out, boosted the saturation etc on them massively, BnW'd the rest of the image, and then just smudged/liquified the over-saturated eyes to give those vivid streaks of colour.

But yeah most of his pictures just look like a good camera with a few touchups in something like Lightroom.
