I was trying to compile Omnicoin on my Debian 7.0 x64 VPS, and I keep getting this error. I have installed all dependencies, but that doesn't change a thing.

That looks a lot like the OOM_kill kernel feature. The process is killed because it has burst memory or CPU for too long, or it's just out of memory. That's a common problem on a non-KVM VPS. You can compile it locally on a virtual machine though. If it's a Debian 7 64-bit you can have my binary.
