Hey Hackforums!! Recently I have become very interested with RATS. However I had trouble starting up so here I have a tutorial on how to completely set-up DC so you guys won't have the same problem I had when I was starting.

STEP 1

First of all.. we need Darkcomet! Most downloads you will find are "back doored". This means they have a RAT attached to the program, so when you run the program.... you also run their rat😭 A UB3R member posted a thread with a clean download. He is called "Business" and has 512 rep. The link he put is this: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4rra9g6o0j8ri...Q8UjPFcjya . (Windows Firewall, Windows Defender and any Anti-Virus should be turned off to decrease the risk of errors)

STEP 2

Now we need to port forward to allow the users we run the RAT on, to connect to our computers. This step is hard to teach as it's different on every router so watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usSpl0yJFnY (Please note if using a VPN you don't have to port forward on your router only the VPN and disable Windows Firewall or add it as an inbound rule. However not all VPN's allow you to port forward. I recommend NVPN with a dedicated IP.)

STEP 3

We now need to listen on that port. If using a VPN to port forward you will need to listen on the port otherwise is will be closed. (This may help if the port is saying closed on canyouseeme.org)

Click DarComet-Rat ---> Listen to new port and enter in the port you port forwarded on:

STEP 4

Now we need a DNS. This is very simple so follow this tutorial by a user called "Jinu" here as they wrote it a lot better that I will😏 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4251545

STEP 5

Now we need to buid the actual stub!!! 🤗 Go to "DarkComet-Rat ---> Server Module ---> Full Editor :

Only change the settings I do👍

Under the "Network Settings" tab, Enter you DNS and Port you port forwarded on:

Under the " Module Startup" tab, We are going to tick the six boxes with a red box around them in this picture:

Now you're done!!!!!🤩🤗🎉👍 Under the "Stub Finalization" tab just chose "Build The Stub"!!!!

I really hope this helped!! This is my first tutorial and I plan to do more so let me know how I did and if I need to fix any mistakes!

Good tutorial mate, like the clean link! I would recommend adding the crypting stage to your TUT and taking out the 'Module Startup' bit....If you crypt your server you should have everything disabled! Anyway well done on this!

You can use pretty much any port you want.
Most common for rats are 1604 and 9003

Nice guide indeed. You should tell people to always enable the Security Password feature as well, with a custom password. It's used for comms encryption and acts as a handshake.
