How to install virtualization on a dedi in order to create Vps's

Me and a friend recently found a really good deal for a server. He ended up buying it and now we are going to colocate it and sell it. We have already found the datacentre we just need some pointers.

The server is pretty big and we want to split it up into vps's and sell the vps's separately. What software would you guys recommend we do this with?

I was thinking we install CentOS and then OpenVZ?
Virtualizor from Softaculous company - easy for noob's and yet professional.
Or use
Solusvm - most used.

Same pricing both. $9/m for UL VPS.
Though with virtualizor u can create KVM + OpenVZ + XEN VPS but with solusvm only OpenVZ. Though you can create KVM too in solusvm by using some third party tools.
I would recommend installing VMWare and be able to sell windows vps and linux vps.
I think that virtualizor will be the best way to go as it is easy to use for you and the users.
Install VMWare ESX (the free version) as operating system and you will be happy.
i vouch for solusvm, they don't break the bank and their support is always high as fuck

Yea I am debating whether I should go for Virtualizor or Sulusvm. Thye both look super cool and easy to use.
You might as well not even try to sell VPS's if you have to ask this question.

Just buy solusvm and install it on your dedi

Why? So if I want to ask how to ride a bike a shouldn't try and ride it and just give up?

Anyways, I think we will go with solusvm thanks guys.
SolusVM and use KVM for Windows/Linux, if you want an easier option but just Linux then OpenVZ. Remember KVM doesn't let you oversell HDD space.
I would say try their demos before pulling them in production environment. The best way you can get to know them :)
I'd say you should use SolusVM, It's pretty easy to use (If you know what you're doing). It has a lot of awesome features. It's easily intergratable with the majority of billing systems, It's pretty cheap and yeah! It's just probably the better one to chose from imo!
Go for SolusVM if you're going to "sell" the VM's.

For internal use, and a much more reliable infrastructure, go for VMware ESXi. The free one does the job, but when you add more servers in the future, you might want to visit your favourite torrent site to get vCenter, etc. Those will help you combine nodes and HA and all that really cool stuff ;)

because there is a lot more to selling vps's beyond knowing how to setup your dedi to sell them.
