Hey HF,

Simple as it is, I am going to be the one who comes out and says it, this section is a joke now. It's all about Botting and Runescape private servers. Like seriously? This is not the botting Runescape section, or even the RSPS section. I don't understand how it managed to turn into this, but it did and it's ridiculous. I'm not saying it's gonna stop me from posting in this section, because it's not, but now it's constantly the SAME questions, SAME threads, and just overall a boring section. Sorry if this makes some people butthurt but the truth hurts.

I really can't believe there is RSPS tags and Botting tags, I personally dislike it.

EDIT: I think the section should be mainly based for Runescape, just Runescape. Not RSPS's or Botting questions, if you have botting questions go to Powerbot or OSBot forums and ask there.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Someone else who understands, I know why the RSPS scene has been blowing up and the botting scene as well, but I don't want to see this in, what used to be a good section, it's annoying. There is a search bar for an option and there are also forums SPECIFICALLY for botting related questions.

I concur...although I use it to post about botting too..But I would be content with making it to where you can't post about botting or RSPS to be honest. The "best bot to use" question and the "is it worth botting" questions seem like there are 30 threads a day labeled that lol.

What bothers me the most is that about 30% of the daily posts have to do with botting. Like if you want to fucking get help with a bot or have any questions regarding a bot go on a botting site instead of asking for help in a fucking post in a non botting based section or forum.

Completely agree with this to be honest.

What we really need is Vinnie back in here being his usual cat self. Logs being the typical defence noob, and TPD (and company) to amaze us all with his bugs.

Also others who actually posted some at least unique content in here.

Every single new thread is the same. They have all been answered thousands upon thousands of times. You can actually see the life-cycle of a bad Runescape player pan out all in this section. Firstly is his "progress log", then a "is botting worth it" thread, followed by a "what bot is best" thread, and finally finished off with a "omg I got banned and it's not my fault" thread. This is genuinely as amusing as this section gets any more.

I strongly believe that discussion of botting, which is in essence, cheating, on Runescape should be disallowed. Purely because of how quickly the majority of threads concerning the topic become LQ. There are forums already in place to discuss it. Like honestly, why not do it there?

If this section was just for RuneScape, then it would be dead. And you would also only see these threads:

"How do I train this?"
"How do I make money"
"Help me hack this account"
"Join my clan"
"Just started OSRS"
"Coming back to the game"
"This game sucks"

And all the other repeats of threads that have ALREADY EXISTED in this section.

Just because you're seeing a lot of RSPS/botting content right now doesn't mean this section is all about that.
This section will be shit either way.

yup i completely agree man, i try to post in here as much as possible but its impossible because its exactly what you said, every thread is about botting or rsps like i don't do either of that shit and i just want to talk about some runescape stuff like new updates, things going on in the game. etc... like a cool active runescape forum page. will just have to start making a bunch of threads about actual runescape stuff and not botting/rsps

The threads that annoy me are the "looking for friends" threads. I agree, this section of HF has gone down hill.

Then change it. Post tutorials, post topics you want to see and others will follow suite. Complaining may feel like it's productive but you gotta be the change you wanna see.
