In the past I have just fooled around with making text sigs ect nothing good, and I spent a few hours tonight watching a few diff tuts on youtube and this is what I came up with :) Rate

The text is amateurish, for example the two fonts you've chosen don't go well together at all. Just use one font if two don't look right, also the smiley face shouldn't be there, kinda throws off the piece. Learn to work with blending options on the text too.

The rest of it isn't bad at all, keep it up :)

The picture itself is good for a first timer, however the text isn't that appealing to be honest - if you can work on your text, you'll be making steps forward!

The icon/logo looks too plain.
Give it some more, and make it match the background more.

dang what year is it? 2005?

but spleek is right. don't try to fool anyone. that glass, we've all seen that.
all the things just dont seem to belong together. the circle is futuristic-esque, but the 'electric gaming' isn't
edges look pixelated though, i'd try to fixe those. easy on the layer styles and effects m8

The logo isn't blended very well with the rest of the piece, so that could be improved. For a first attempt this is really good though, a lot better than when I started
